Celeb watch: He’s in jail — is it rock bottom for Chris Brown?

Chris Brown messed up again and this time, he didn’t get a slap on the wrist. He’s actually in jail! Over the weekend, Breezy was kicked out of his 90-day court-ordered Malibu rehab facility. It was unclear why he was kicked but as soon as he was escorted off the property, he was picked up by the LA County Sheriff’s department and hauled to jail.

Things went from bad to worse. TMZ reports Brown was taken to court and a judge ordered he stay in prison until April 23. The agreement that was imposed in November was that he stay in rehab or go to jail for violating his probation in the 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna.

TMZ says Brown was kicked out for violating three rules, including one that he stay two feet away from the women in the rehab facility because of the Rihanna case.

Another violation was that Brown left the facility for an authorized outing and refused to be drug tested when he returned. He took the test later and the results were negative, but his refusal was a violation.

Finally, the facility claims Chris made a mockery of rehab during a group session with some harsh comments.

It’s unclear if the judge will release him for his April 17 hearing in Washington DC for another assault case.

Chris Brown needs to sort himself out before he spirals down even further. I hope this is rock bottom for him because if not, he’s got a lot of bad days coming.

George Clooney has a new girlfriend and she’s a fabulous, high-powered British lawyer. Amal Alamuddin is Julian Assange’s lawyer and she is absolutely gorgeous.

The pair are in Tanzania on vacation and it seems legit.

People magazine has exclusive photos and reports the couple were first linked when they were seen having dinner in October. Last month, Alamuddin was Clooney’s date at a special screening of his new movie The Monuments Men at the White House.

According to People, a source who has worked with Clooney has high hopes for the new romance.

“He’s with someone who is a very accomplished attorney. She isn’t someone who is pursuing a career in acting or entertainment. She’s on his level.”

Now this coupling is very interesting to me because Clooney usually deals with downmarket but pretty girls who aren’t anywhere close to as successful as he. His last girlfriend was Stacey Kiebler, who was a wrestler and before that, Elisabetta Canalis, who was desperate for fame.

Alamuddin is beautiful, she’s successful, she doesn’t need his money and she probably could do better than Clooney. And, I’m pretty sure she’s smarter than him.

I like this match because I think she will keep Clooney on his toes.
