St George’s man arrested on suspicion of impaired driving
Around 1:35am on Saturday, June 14th police officers on mobile patrol along Cavendish Road in Pembroke when they observed a motorcycle being ridden through the area in an erratic manner.
The rider, a 37 year old St. Georges parish man, was caused to stop as a result and appeared to be intoxicated.
He was then arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and detained.
Weekend Police Activity
Over the weekend, police officers arrested 24 people for outstanding warrants. Officers also arrested one person on suspicion of impaired driving and conducted liquor license checks at various liquor licensed premises throughout the island.
