Traffic Advisory: Road closures in Hamilton

The motoring public is advised that the following road closures and traffic diversions will occur this weekend in the City of Hamilton.

Saturday, June 7th

Due to a rehearsal for the Queen’s Birthday Parade between 6pm and 8pm Saturday, the following road closures will be in effect.

Road Closures

Front Street between Court Street and Queen Street.

Burnaby Street between Front Street and Reid Street.

Sunday, June 8th

Due to the Tokio Millennium Re Triathlon between 7:30am and 12 noon Sunday, the following road closures and traffic diversions will be in effect.

Road Closures

East Broadway (both inbound and outbound carriageways) between North Roundabout and Spurling Hill.

Front Street between Spurling Hill and Bermudiana Road.

King Street between Reid Street and Front Street.

Court Street between Reid Street and Front Street.

Burnaby Street between Reid Street and Front Street.

Woodbourne Avenue will be closed to traffic traveling south from the junction with Richmond Road.

Traffic Diversions

Traffic traveling east along Pitts Bay Road will be diverted onto Woodbourne Avenue.

Traffic approaching North Roundabout will be diverted onto Point Finger Road or Trimingham Hill.
