One Sun reader couldn’t believe her luck yesterday after winning a signed and framed Nahki Wells picture.

The shot is of Wells celebrating a goal in one of his last games for Bradford City before his £1.3m-plus move to Championship side Huddersfield Town.

Althea Richardson, of St David’s, who entered the competition after seeing it advertised in the Sun and online at www.bermudasun.bm, said: “I’m excited — I never thought it would happen.

“I saw the advertisement in the Sun and thought to myself, ‘Let me try my luck and go online’. I’ve never won anything before, so this is a fantastic surprise.”

Ms Richardson won’t be keeping the sought-after prize, though. Instead she plans to surprise her grandson.

She said: “I'm going to give it to my grandson Zahn, but I am going to let him read it in the paper first, and wait for his call — he always reads the paper. I’m sure he will ask to see the photograph and then once he comes to the house I'll tell him ‘it’s yours’.”

• Win a Huddersfield Town football club team shirt – 'Number 21 – Wells' - autographed by Nahki Wells!
