A 19-year-old man on yesterday denied stealing a variety of items from a Warwick home.

Marcus Tucker pleaded not guilty to entering a Smith Avenue home as a trespasser on January 17 and stealing four pairs of jeans, ten tops and $2,000 in cash belonging to Ellsworth Smith. The matter was adjourned for trial in May and Mr Tucker was granted $2,000 bail with one surety. 

Driving charge

An 81-year-old man appeared in Magistrates’ Court today charged with driving without due care.

Neville Smith pleaded not guilty to causing grievous bodily harm to Jessie Hardy on October 21 in Pembroke by driving without due care and attention.

Mr Smith will stand trial in April and was granted $3,000 bail.
