The Elbow Beach Resort will be changing management of the hotel on April 1.

There is no expected change to the operations once the change comes into effect.

The hotel has 98 rooms.

The Elbow Beach Hotel & Development Company Limited will assume management of the luxury resort as of April 1, 2014, when the current management contract held by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group expires on March 31, 2014.

Ayed Al Jeaid, board chairman of The Elbow Beach Hotel & Development Company Limited said in a release: “The ownership and board of Elbow Beach Hotel would like to express their appreciation for the exceptional management services that Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has provided over the years. We are confident that the resort will remain well positioned for success.”

Following Mandarin Oriental’s departure on March 31, 2014, the resort will continue to operate as usual and will remain focused on providing exceptional service to its guests.
