The Fifth Race of the Flying Colors Fat Tire Massive mountain bike series took place at Ferry Point Park on Sunday.
The course was sheltered from the high winds and conditions remained pleasant and breezy for the duration of the event.
A total of 105 hopeful riders took the long course, which showcases all the best challenges that Bermuda can offer a mountain biker: steep rocky climbs, breakneck downhills and winding, slippery single trail.
Male Vets and Novices shared the largest turnout with 18 riders starting in each group. Male B saw new faces on the podium with Peter Dunne placing second and Tim Fox third behind the usual first place racer, Matthew Oliveira.
