CelebWatch: Would you stay with your guy if he fathered a child with another woman?

You would think celebrity gossip would have slowed down over the holidays, but nope! They gave us tons of things to talk about over gatherings with friends and family.

One of the top stories has to basketball star Dwyane Wade fathering a child with a woman who isn’t his new fiancé Gabrielle Union.

The pair got engaged before Christmas and days later, Wade confirmed he did have a newborn son and claimed the child was conceived while on a break with Union. The child is Xavier Wade and the mother is a woman named Aja Metoyer. She has two kids with actor and comedian Damon Wayans Jr.

So the interesting thing is, were they really on a break? TMZ did a bit of research and stalked Union’s Instagram account around the time the baby would have been conceived, sometime in February.

There are no signs the couple were on a break, as Union posted many lovey-dovey pics of her with Wade up until April. It was then that the photos took a different turn.

Union posted a bunch of cryptic posts and didn’t post a photo of Wade until May. Now, if you take her Instagram as gospel, it looks like she found out about the baby in April, got upset and by May, decided to forgive Wade.

On Wednesday, MediaTakeOut said Union is reportedly pregnant and due over the summer. Congrats, I guess? n

In another scandal, rapper and actor Ludacris has also fathered a child while allegedly on a break from his longtime girlfriend Eudoxie Agnan.

The baby girl was born in December in Atlanta and Ludacris has known the mother, Tamika Fuller, for years.

The part that is strange is that he filed documents to establish child support and claims he can only afford $1,700 a month.

I’m not saying a baby needs more than that, but Ludacris is worth millions and I’m sure he can afford to pay more than $1,700 a month.

Which gets me to my next point. Why are these women staying with these men who are clearly cheaters? There is no way I would stay with my boyfriend if he publicly humiliated me by getting another girl pregnant.

Not only is there a baby, but also a PR campaign to deliver, to smooth everything over. There is not enough money in the world...

But maybe this is a new trend among celebs? Let’s hope it doesn’t catch on!
