Three flights cancelled (update 1)

Both of the flights to JFK from Bermuda were cancelled today. The Philadelphia flight was also cancelled.

The American Airlines flight that was scheduled at 9:20am and the JetBlue flight scheduled to leave at 12:29pm were scrapped as a severe snowstorm dumped as much as 18 inches of snow in parts of New York. Boston also got 21 inches of snow.

According to flightstats.com, other flights from the northeast part of the United States have been affected as Delta Air Lines flight from Boston is behind schedule by two hours and this afternoon’s Delta flight from LaGuardia has been pushed back from 3:44pm to a 5:44pm departure time — although that is still subject to change. The Newark flight is currently scheduled to leave at 6:03pm.

Delta’s flight from Boston was able to take off, but it was delayed by 2 hours and 20 minutes.

The US Airways flight from Philadelphia left 81 minutes late and has been redirected to another airport.

The United Airlines flight from Newark to Bermuda has been pushed back from 2:52pm to 5:48pm and is in danger of being cancelled. The Delta LaGaurdia flight is currently slated to leave New York at 5:42pm, an hour and 174 minutes behind schedule.

Tonight’s American flight from JFK has been cancelled.
