Don’t miss Pee Wee cricket
Registration for the free Tokio Millennium Re Pee Wee ‘Have-a-go’ Cricket Program for children ages 5-7 is still open.
The program takes place at Berkeley Institute Gym every Saturday in March, starting on March 1 and finishing on March 29, 2014.
Lloyd Fray, president of the BCB, said: “On behalf of the BCB I am very pleased that our Pee Wee Programme will once again be offered free thanks to the continued support of Tokio Millennium Re, who share our strong focus of bettering the lives of Bermuda’s youth through sports.
“During the session, the players will be introduced to the basics of cricket with the main aim of having fun.
“Utilizing the ‘Have-a-go’ Cricket equipment, coaches will work with the players on learning the basic skills of catching, bowling and batting with the aim of playing a game in the last session. The emphasis of “Have-a-go” Cricket is on participation and enjoyment.”
The sessions run as follows: five year olds on 2pm- 3pm; 6-7 year olds on 3.15pm- 4.15pm.
To register for this registration and for more information contact the BCB on 292 8958 or email [email protected]
