Bermuda suffered a second loss at the hands, or rather the racquets, of another Central American Latin country.

This time it was the host of the 2013 event El Salvador, who have good depth in their player skill levels. Regardless of the match-ups Nick Lines, Tanner Boyle and Dylan Powell would have an up-hill battle.

Tanner Boyle was not himself and found the going tough against Sebastian Quiros. At first glance it looked as if Tanner would have a good match, but it was not to be and the Salvadoran was an easy winner at 6-1, 6-1.

In the second match in the #1 spot Nick Lines was up against Atilio Flores. Atilio is a regular in the ITF school of tennis and had a backhand that was as solid as his forehand was potent.

Lines showed improvement in his own game, which made it a match although the scoreline would not indicate so. After a near 90-minute entertaining encounter, again El Salvador was the victor by a similar score of 6-2, 6-1.

Playing in the doubles for a second day, Nick Lines and Dylan Powell were pitted against Atilio Fores and Salvador Bolanos. It was a comfortable win for the Salvadorans at 6-0, 6-1.

Wednesday is the final day of Round Robin matches. Bermuda will face its first English-speaking island, that of Jamaica. There is clearly a different expectation in this match up, with pride at stake for both islands. Both islands having lost their previous ties by three matches to zero.
