Nahki Wells’ Huddersfield Town slipped past Birmingham City 2-1 on Saturday.

Wells was kept off the score sheet, but his side collected all three points.

Oliver Norwood put Huddersfield up 1-0 after 10 minutes from a smart pass by Danny Ward.

Fifteen minutes into the second half, Adam Clayton blasted home a 25-yard shot that extended the lead to 2-0.

Wells was taken off in the 89th minute as Town looked to protect their lead, but Birmingham scored less than a minute later when Olly Lee managed to salvage some respect for City.

Wells scored in Huddersfield’s first two games but now is on a five-match scoreless streak.

Huddersfield’s next match will be next Saturday against Sheffield Wednesday.
