VIDEO: Bermuda and the world thanked by typhoon-hit Philippines
Bermudians responded magnificently when Typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines in November.
The storm killed more than 6,000 people and devastated the country.
There are many connections between the Philippines and Bermuda and we reported on current and former Bermuda residents hit by the tragedy.
Overseas relief organizations spring into actions and through their Bermuda branches tens of thousands of dollars in aid was sent from the island.
Now those efforts have been formally acknowledged in a video which shows the rebuilding efforts taking place in the Philippines, as well as the gratitude, joy and resilience of the region's people.
Follow the links below to see the range of fundraising efforts that took place in Bermuda, as well as the stories of Bermuda residents whose lives have been affected.
