The Veendam will return to Bermuda in 2015 and dock in Hamilton on six trips.
The news will come as a welcome boost to retailers in the capital who have been without a regular liner since Holland America pulled out of Bermuda at the end of 2012.
Holland America's website indicates that the Veendam will make the first of her six sailings at the beginning of May 2015 to Bermuda.
She will sail out of Boston for each visit and make the last call in July
The Veendam was a regular caller to Bermuda between 2010 and 2012.
She was initially supposed to call in St George's but the liner was deemed too big to transit Town Cut.
In 2012 the Veendam, which carries just over 1,300 passengers, made a total of 19 trips to the island from New York.
