The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited (“Butterfield”) today announced that it has been named Best Private Bank in Bermuda by Euromoney.

The annual Euromoney  Private Banking Awards, which are decided by a vote of private banking professionals from around the globe, are among the most prestigious wealth management industry awards. Recipients are recognised as offering the leading private banking services and products in their respective markets.

This award follows Butterfield’s recent receipt of three International Financial Centre Awards from Citywealth , the UK-based publisher of wealth-management industry news and directories, which named Butterfield Private Bank of the Year – Caribbean, Trust Company of the Year – Caribbean and Trust Company of the Year – Switzerland. In December 2013, Butterfield was also named Bank of the Year 2013 in both Bermuda and the Cayman Islands by industry publication, The Banker .

Last year, Euromoney  recognised Butterfield with awards for Bermuda’s Best Private Banking Services Overall, Best Relationship Management and Best Range of Investment Products in its 2012 Global Private Banking Survey.

Nir Sadeh, Butterfield’s Senior Vice President and Head of Private Banking in Bermuda said, “We are pleased to have been recognised by Euromoney  as Bermuda’s best private bank for the second year in a row. This award, along with the recognition we have received from other leading publications, is a testament to the quality of our people, the innovative products we offer and the priority we place on client service. I would like to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate each member of our private banking team in Bermuda; this award belongs to all of them.”

Established in 1969, Euromoney  magazine has worldwide readership with monthly circulation of more than 63,000. It is considered the preeminent journal of the international finance community.
