Manders signs for English club Bashley

Bermudian midfielder Taurean Manders has signed for English non-league side Bashley.

International Manders, 27, played in a number of World Cup qualifiers for Bermuda and is the son of former Somerset Cup Match cricketer Andre.

Previously, he has had stints with Bradenton Academics (America), Capital City and York Region Shooters (Canada) and Barracuda FC (Antigua).

Bashley received international clearance for Manders on Saturday, according to the Bournemouth Echo, and the player is available for the Southern League Premier Division team's next match away at Stourbridge on February 8.

Bashley are currently bottom of the table, with just two wins all season.
