Brandi Glanville got herself into hot water on Twitter over the weekend and it was so unnecessary.
The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills star was in New York with her sons Mason and Jack when Mason had to be rushed to hospital.
It’s unclear what happened to him, but Granville tweeted about it and posted a photo of Mason in hospitalwith IVs attached to him. She said: “8 hours in the ER this trip to NYC Mason will never forget! 1st trip in an ambulance! All will be fine.”
And then updated: “Just want to thank all the hard- working Dr. Nurses & EVERYONE that put up with my crying panicked ass and help save my babes life! Thanks for your we’ll wishes regarding Mason he is doing a lot better and all will be fine!”
So the uproar on Twitter was about the fact that Mason’s father, actor Eddie Cibrian, allegedly found out via Twitter. Actually, it was probably because his wife, LeAnn Rimes, stalks Granville’s Twitter page.
Rimes, the same woman Cibrian cheated on Granville with multiple times and married after they divorced, posted on Twitter: “My husband need (sic) to be notified. Period.”
But Rimes basically put her foot in her mouth when she confirmed via Twitter that Cibrian has Glanville’s number blocked so she can’t get into contact with him.
When Glanville’s fans brought this up to Rimes, she tweeted that Mason has a phone and got into arguments with many people. The tweets have subsequently been deleted.
Strained relationship
Okay, I was trying to make sense of this whole thing and put myself in Glanville’s shoes. If I had a strained relationship with my ex-husband and our kid had to go to hospital, would I call him knowing that he has my number blocked?
The answer is probably not. If the situation was life -threatening, then I would do my best to make sure that he knew. But at the end of the day, the child was fine and that’s all that matters.
The issue here is that Rimes is always inappropriately inserting herself into a situation concerning the parents of the boys. This is clearly a situation where social media went wrong.
