Priscilla Murray Brown, Melanie Simons and Karen J. McPhee Johnson have partnered to leverage over 25 years of skills and experience in multiple disciplines to form a first class, multi-service consultancy firm called Concordance Ltd.
Having previously worked together as part of the executive and senior management teams of CACEIS Bermuda Limited (formerly Olympia Capital), and recognizing the pressures that keeping up with ever increasing regulation can place on existing internal resources, the ladies decided to seize the opportunity to assist local entities with fulfilling their compliance obligations with professional and personalized outsourced compliance and governance solutions.
According to Ms. Murray Brown, the company’s founder, “Concordance was launched as a result of our keen interest in governance, compliance and business solutions. These areas present an opportunity to merge our skills and experience with an innate curiosity and desire to understand things at an organizational level, working with clients to gain consensus and the clarity to move past any challenge. We bring an open minded and flexible approach to our business. Through our level of quality and integrity, we strive to earn our clients’ trust and build repeat relationships”.
Concordance Ltd.’s core compliance and governance services include policy and procedures drafting, developing general regulatory and AML/ATF compliance programs, review, assessment and audit of current compliance programs and delivering compliance education and training.
Concordance also provides individual and corporate directorship services, company secretarial and administration services, and temporary in house counsel and finance support services.
In light of more frequent reviews of regulated entities, they envision that prospective clients will find their experience with the various regulatory codes of conduct applicable to the insurance and financial services sectors and their experience in preparing for onsite regulatory inspections to be of particular interest.
