Woman arrested after Court Street assault

Around 3am on Tuesday, September 17^th police and first responders attended a reported assault on Court Street in Pembroke.

Two female victims, believed to be 50 year old Pembroke residents, were located and subsequently taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of facial injuries.

A 39 year old St. George’s woman has been arrested in connection with this matter.

Inquiries are ongoing and witnesses, particularly persons that may have been in the area of Court Street between Angle Street and Dundonald Street from 2am to 3am Tuesday, should contact Detective Constable Mark McCormack at the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 247-1291.
