Salon Visage celebrated its four year anniversary by moving into a bigger space.
Co-owners Nicola ‘Freddy’ King and Catarina Decouto were thrilled with their new premises as well as new services and products they will be able to offer their clients.
Ms King said: “We feel fortunate; very lucky because we feel very pasionate about what we do. We’re very happy that we’re able to offer something a little bit bigger to our clients and offer some new services like braiding.”
She said the salon will now also offer more waxing and eyelash extensions.
“We’re going to be going into a few different lines that we didn’t offer before.”
Ms Decouto said Salon Visage’s clientele have helped make the business a success.
“They have followed us from where we started out so we’re very blessed and very grateful for them.”
Ms King chipped in part of the reason they have been able to grow is “we try to keep our prices reasonable”.
Ms Decouto said in April they found out their just moved into location would be available.
“We made the decision in June that we would take it over.
“We started out with about 900 square feet and now we’re up to about 1,400 square feet.”
Ms King said they have grown with little advertising.
“We’re very lucky. We have relied on word of mouth from our clients. We also do a bit for charity and that helps get our news out there.”
Salon Visage will also be offering a new line of products from Big Sexy Hair which is 98 per cent humidity resistant.
