Investigation into reported gunshots

Police responded to reports of gunshots in the East Park Lane, Pembroke area on Sunday around 7pm.

However after conducting initial inquiries, there was no evidence found to substantiate the reports and no reports of any injuries.

A police spokesperson said: "Inquiries are ongoing and anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011 or the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477."
