The Life and Crimes of Doris Payne is to be shown again after three sell out screenings.

The film, screening as part of the Bermuda Documentary Film Festival, will screen on Saturday November 2 at 3pm in the Tradewinds Auditorium of the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute.

The film tells the story of Doris Payne, a glamorous and charismatic 82-year-old international jewel thief, who uncovers the secrets of her trade and what drove her to a 60-year life of crime.

Payne retraces her steps — Paris, Monte Carlo, Tokyo, Miami, New York – telling how she managed to jet-set her way into any Cartier or Tiffany’s, and emerge with a small fortune.

Tickets are available at the Oceans Gift Shop, BUEI, or by calling 294-0204.
