Street style: My style is simple, chic and not over the top

Kassandra Gabrielle – the singer better known as  “K – Gabrielle”. Age:  20.  Parish: Hamilton.

• Describe your style?  

I think it’s easy and simple, but I like to feel chic as well.  So I don’t want to be over the top, but I do want to look nice.

• Where do you shop for clothes?  

When I am in Bermuda I like to shop at French Connection, but I like to do a lot of online shopping and a lot of thrift shopping when I am out in the States.  

• Walk through your current outfit — where did each item come from and the cost? 

My necklace was ten dollars from H&M, and the dress was a thrift shop find, and so were the shoes.  

So they were probably around $20 each. 

And then my purse was a gift from my aunt.  

• Three products you could not do without?  

Clothes wise I guess it would be a dress. I like eyeliner and a nice pair of flats. 

• What outfit makes you feel sexiest? 

The outfit I wore to the John Lennon (while performing) concert, that dress was pretty sexy.  

• Most stylish Bermudian?  

It’s between two, it would be Dame Jennifer Smith and…  actually it’s three: Jackie Aubrey, Dame Jennifer Smith and Karla Lacey. Those three people.

• Most stylish celebrity?  

I personally like Erica Bordeaux, that’s my style icon. Her and Tracy Alice Ross.

• Top three albums or tracks you’re listening to right now?  

It’s hard to narrow down, I’m listening to a lot of Janelle Monet; her new CD just came out, so I guess her entire CD.   

• Apps you can’t live without? 

I can’t live without Instagram… I can’t!  I’ve tried.  

• Favourite social media platforms?  

Instagram and I like Facebook a little bit, but Instagram is the main one — and Youtube!
