Celeb watch: Kim K steps out, bad girl Rihanna cites style idol

Kim Kardashian has come out of hiding!

Ever since giving birth to baby girl North in June, Kim K has made rare public appearances and she certainly hasn’t walked the red carpet.

I was loving this new low-key Kim. But alas, all good things must come to an end.

Kim and boyfriend Kanye West flew to Paris earlier this week for Paris Fashion Week.

According to US Weekly, Kim was “sad” to be leaving baby North behind in LA. It is the first time she has been away from the three-month old baby.

Anyway, Kim and Kanye hit up Riccardo Tisci’s Givenchy show. Kim was also Riccardo’s date for the Mademoiselle C premiere, a documentary about Carine Roitfield, former editor of French Vogue.

Kim, with her new Beyonce-esque blonde hair wore an ill-fitting black gown to the premiere with tons of cleavage and cut outs. Not her best look at all.

I will give her credit, her street style in Paris has been pretty good despite her straw-coloured hair and an almost obvious facial tweaking. Not bad Kimmy.

My favourite bad girl Rihanna is the November cover girl for Glamour magazine. On the cover, she wears a short curly do with a heavy smokey eye and a smoldering stare.

Rih Rih calls Princess Diana her style icon and said: “You know who is the best who ever did it? Princess Diana. She was like – she killed it. Every look was right. She was gangsta with her clothes. She had these crazy hats. She got oversize jackets. I loved everything she wore.”

I’ve got to agree with the Bajan beauty, Princess Di got it right in just about all of her looks.

Also in the interview, Rihanna talks about getting her fearlessness back, which most likely has something to do with finally leaving ex Chris Brown.

In other Rihanna news, she is currently shooting the video for her stripper anthem, ‘Pour It Up’.

The song was released earlier this year but since she promised her fans a video, that’s exactly what she is doing, albeit a bit late. Rih Rih has posted tons of images from the video on her Instagram. They feature the star in a short, platinum blonde wig with what can be best described as upscale stripper clothing.

In a few shots, Rihanna is sitting on a throne, decked out in jewelled stripper attire, while wearing dollar bill-themed stripper shoes. The video is not for youngsters or the faint of heart.
