Title goal for Micah

The Bermuda Squash Racquet Association has released the draws for the 2013 BCS BSRA Club Championships.

World #171 Micah Franklin will attempt to wrestle the men’s title from 15 time champion and former World #63 Nick Kyme.

In the ladies’ section, Susie Lacey is the main rival for defending champion and national champion Laura Robinson.

The vets also look set to provide plenty of excitement. Jan Brewer will bid  to retain the title against brothers Murray and Richard, as well as John Stout and Tony Prentice.

There is no Denise Kyme in the ladies’ open or vets this year so a new ladies’ veterans champion is guaranteed.

Director of squash Patrick Foster said in a press release: “For the first time we have a Junior Club Championships running alongside the adults.

“The boys #1 Seed is Dylan Muldoon while the girls event will likely see another titanic battle between Tiye Williams & Susanna Armano for the title.”

A total of 84 players will take part. Action gets under way on Monday with presentations to be made after the last finals on Saturday, November 30.
