Four arrests in shooting investigation

A female and three males from Sandy’s have been arrested in connection with last night’s shooting.

A 22-year-old man was shot in the Beacon Hill Road/Scott’s Hill Road area of Sandy’s parish.

A police statement said: “At last check the victim was in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit ofKing Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

“The four suspects remain in police custody. Inquiries are ongoing with detectives examining evidence recovered from scene and recording witness statements.

“The investigative team is particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen two maleswearing dark coloured clothing and dark coloured helmets riding on a motorcycle through the Beacon Hill Road, Scott’s Hill Road Sandys parish area around 10pm Tuesday.”
