A couple are leaving the island next month and will have a completely non-traditional farewell party.

Sabrina Smith and Nathan Norville will host a fitness event on Saturday called 60 Exercises in 60 Minutes at the Arboretum in conjunction with their online health and wellness company BeneEsse.

BeneEsse is Latin for wellbeing and the event is their way to give back to the community.

It will be held from 10:30am to 11:30am and is free to the public.

Ms Smith and Mr Norville have come up with 160 plus exercise using one’s own body weight and will showcase them at the event.

Asked what people can expect, Ms Smith said: “A great workout, some entertainment — Nathan always entertains those around him — and a fun and healthy atmosphere.”

Mr Norville added: “High energy and lots of fun on a beautiful Bermuda Saturday morning.

“People of all shapes, sizes and abilities in the same quest of trying to be physically active.

“And last but not least, a showcase of multiple exercises that can be done anywhere and anytime.”

“If you feel tired, feel free to sit on the grass and watch while enjoying the music, and get back in when you are ready.

Mr Norville added: “Absolutely no one is too fit or unfit for this. The idea is to show just a few of the hundreds of exercises that can be done just using your own body. Do as much or a little as feels comfortable for you. Jump in and get your sweat on when you feel good and take a breather whenever you want in a judge free atmosphere.”

Ms Smith and Mr Norville are both certified health and wellness coaches through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.

Mr Norville is also an advanced personal trainer, wellness coach and spin instructor.

Participants should bring a water bottle, a towel and “good energy”.
