All types of men have played a father role to me

On Wednesday, I started a dedication to men who have been fathers to me. Today I will conclude my Fathers Day dedication

Social Fathers 

Misters Glenn Fubler, Stansfield Smith, Pat Washington, Mr Brunson, Robert Horton and Dr. Clifford Maxwell were my teachers at Berkeley. I was never on the honour roll then, but I will uphold Gold House forever.  Respice Finem. 

Mr. John Barritt for allowing me to learn true columnism (new word). 

Misters Randy French and Glenn Blakeney, for providing a platform for true journalism and free media — I will use these tools wisely. 

Misters Choy Aming and  ddie Demello for constantly promoting cultural prid.e 

Misters Roosevelt Brown Arnold Francis, Wilfred Allen, Robert Wilson, Hugh Richardson, Sir Alex Scott, Brothers Robert Johnson and the living legend Ottiwell Simmons, Drs. E.F Gordon and Ewart Brown and all the unknown soldiers of the struggle for equality for all Bermudians. 

Thank you for setting the foundation we must and will build on. 

Hon Michael Manley, Robert Bradshaw, Sir John Compton, A N R Robinson. Fathers of a free and proud Caribbean people. Jomo Kenyatta, Nelson Mandela, Marcus Mosiah Garvey and Emperor Haile Selassie. I am that I am because of you. Jah lives .

Mother & Father 

To the multitudes of strong women who have to be both mother and father. 

I know the road may be rocky. But you yourselves have to become that rock your children lean upon. Amay Fraser, Pearl Glover, Madge Macarthy, Florette Nash, Judy Mowatt, Evernell Davis, Julia Famous, Valerie Brown, Helena Rawlins, Helen Bartley I truly salute you. 

You see, the sperm that impregnates an egg is not visible to the eye, but the love and devotion one puts into the children they groom and mold is the true mark of fatherhood.

 So whether it is your biological or non-biological child you find in your midst, thank God for giving you the opportunity to father them in one way or the other. They will thank you one day somehow. 

Role Models 

As you can see from my list, many persons of many ethnicities and nationalities have been a direct or indirect role models in my life. Principles trump Pigmentation. Whether you know or not you can have a large impact on a young person’s life. 

So always apply ourselves in the positive, because somewhere a young person is observing you.  To my Departed grandfathers, have a tall glass of “special mauby” on me until the day I see you again.

Para as multidões de mulheres fortes, que têm que ser mãe e pai. Eu sei que a estrada pode ser rochoso. Mas vocês mesmos tem que se tornar a pedra seus filhos se apoiar. Você vê, o espermatozóide fecunda um óvulo, que não é visível a olho nu, mas o amor ea devoção que se coloca para as crianças que noivo e molde é a verdadeira marca de paternidade.  Então, se é seu filho biológico ou não biológico você encontra em seu meio, agradecer a Deus por lhe dar a oportunidade de ser pai deles, de uma forma ou de outra. Eles vão agradecer-lhe um dia de alguma forma.

Role Models

Como você pode ver na minha lista, muitas pessoas de muitas etnias e nacionalidades têm sido um modelos diretos ou indiretos papel na minha vida. 

Diretores trunfo pigmentação.  Se você sabe ou não pode ter um grande impacto sobre a vida de jovem pessoas. Então, sempre aplicar-nos no positivo, porque em algum lugar uma pessoa jovem está observando você.

Aos meus avôs falecidos. Tenha um copo de “mauby especial” em mim até o dia que eu vê-lo novamente.
