Man denies dog caused injury

A 34-year-old man appeared in court today where he denied charges of having a pit bull that injured two women.

Mark Mills of Devonshire pleaded not guilty to keeping a light brown Pit Bull named Bully, which caused injury to Vertina Thomas and Marisol Wainwright on November 21 in Devonshire.

No details of the case were given in court.

Mr Mills was given $1,000 bail and will return in September for trial.
