More than 200 models dazzled the audience at the Evolution Fashion Show on Saturday but six of them caught the critical eye of international scout Leah Hibbert.
Their photographs are currently being handed around a team of 20 scouts at one of the world’s most prestigious modelling networks, Elite Model Management for possible selection.
Ms Hibbert of Elite’s London office told the Bermuda Sun: “I have presented the girls to the agency and I am waiting on everyone’s feedback. There are about 20 people, we all need to be in agreement.
“It is very tough and very selective. I can’t guarantee we will be signing all of the girls or even just one of them, it’s not just my decision but those are the girls I think have the best potential to work on an international level.”
If any of the girls are chosen, they could land a modelling deal with Elite which has a network of more than 30 agencies worldwide including the UK, US, France and Russia. Hibbert added: “If any girls are chosen, the next step would be to fly them over to London and to begin testing them. We would organize some test shoots with some of the photographers that we work with in London and perhaps introduce them to the Elite network so working on an international level. That includes everyone from Elite Amsterdam to Elite Stockholm all the way over to The Society which is our agency in New York.
“As part of the network it’s the biggest platform that an agency can give a girl because we already have a support network supporting us across the world.”
