Women’s Division
P & M Electricutes v EZ Grls
Custer’s Last Stand, the Charge of the Light Brigade and the Bermuda women’s softball finals all have one thing in common — a slaughter of epic proportions.
The three game sweep for P & M ended as it began, with a five-inning mercy killing. This was one of the biggest mismatches in finals history with P & M winning 37 to 1.
The Cutes scored 29 times in the final inning with Carla Zuill (4-7, 10 RBI) hitting two homers – believed to be a record. P & M’s top six batters were a combined 24 for 24 in the final inning. Both Dianne Blais and Charlie Corday were 7-7 with Rose Sanders, Stephanie Rego and Alicia Miller all 6-7 in the 48-hit attack. 
Kelsie Stychin (2-3) scored Grls only run and teammate Tawana Lee was also 2-3.
The three game series saw P & M outscore Grls 78 to 14.
A Division
Docksiders Tuff Dogs v
 P & M Electric
A 12-run second sealed the deal for Tuff Dogs as they swept the A Division championships with a 20 to 15 victory. Adam Mattatal (3-5) and Steve O’Flynn (4-5) both homered in the second for Tuff Dogs. Both batters had six RBI for the winners.
Pitcher Ryon Outerbridge (3-5) helped stave off a late charge with his own three-run bomb in the sixth. Leadoff hitter Ryan Gaglio was 5-6 and soccer star Logan Alexander was 4-5.
Danny Cook (3-4) and Steve Simons (4-5) homered for P & M. 
B Division
BEST Shipping v
Scared Hitless
BEST scored eight in the fourth inning and then held on to stave a late charge by Hitless to win 14 to 13. The victory put BEST up 2-0 in the best of three series. BEST scored three in the first and then relied on back-to-back homers by Nelson Arruda (2-3) and Aaron Madeiros (1-2) to power them in the fourth inning. They also picked up three runs in the fifth, two on a single by Carlos Lima (3-4) to complete their scoring. 
Lavarr Bassett (3-4) had two triples and a homer for Hitless. Zachary Simmons, Lisa Marshall and Richard Campbell all had two hits for in the losing effort.
C Division
KPMG v 
Bermuda Water Tours
KPMG evened up their series with 15 to 14 triumph. Water Tours scored 11 times in the fourth inning to go up 14 to 13, but KPMG scored twice in the fifth to take the lead. Neither side was able to score in the sixth and seventh innings.
Matt Maleo (4-4, 5 RBI) homered for KPMG and Elliott Proyschen was 4-5.
Steve Smith (3-5) and Kevin Barnes (2-5) homered for Water Tours.
That levelled the series at one game apiece. n
