The Pee Wee Have-A-Go Cricket Programme is for children from five to seven-years-old.
The workshop will be held at Berkeley Institute Gym and will take place every Saturday, starting on February 26 and finishing on March 26.
The five-year-olds will participate from 2pm to 3:30pm and the six and seven-year-olds from 3pm to 4pm
During the session, the players will be introduced to the basics of cricket with the main aim of having fun.
Utilising the “have-a-go” cricket equipment, coaches will work with the players on learning the basics skills of catching, bowling and batting with the aim of playing a game in the last half hour of the session.
The emphasis of “have-a-go” Cricket is on participation and enjoyment.
Reginald Pearman, president of the Bermuda Cricket Board, said: "This is one of the BCB's most popular programmes with it being fully subscribed for the past two years. In 2010 it was noted that many of the players in the programme progressed to the 8&Unders and continued to play cricket in the 8&Unders League."
The league is sponsored by the BCB with support from the Western Counties Cricket Association and Ironshore Insurance Ltd.
