YMSC pull out of Twenty20 League

After failing to show in last week's Twenty20 matches, Social Club have withdrawn from the league.

In a letter addressed to the Bermuda Cricket Board, YMSC stated that their withdrawal is due largely to players either having work commitments, vacations or suspensions. Social Club said: "As we feel it is a privilege to play in these competitions and enjoy the fellowship with the other teams, we also feel it is not in the best interest of the sport to have those teams expecting to play a match only not to have an opposition showing up with a full complement of players."

As a result of YMSC withdrawal from the Twenty20 league Saturday's game between Cleveland and Western Stars at Devonshire Rec has been moved from 3pm to the earlier start time of 11am.

All games involving YMSC are to be recorded as match abandoned with no points being allocated.[[In-content Ad]]
