Keanu Wilson won both heats of Sunday’s Superbike Class to cut the distance behind points’ leader Cyril Whitter.
Whitter’s two seconds still helps him keep his somewhat diminished edge in the overall standings by 30 points.
Ed Cook was also perfect in the Formula Class as six of the seven divisions saw whitewashes at the top. Tony Grant took runner-up honours and holds a 52-point advantage over Cook.
Bruce DeGrilla gave himself breathing room in the overall standings of the GP 125 Class with two firsts while Andrew DeCosta was second twice. DeCosta trails DeGrilla by 38 points.
Jordan Fletcher cut Kenneth DeSilva’s lead to 23 points in the Scooter Open Class. Fletcher had two firsts, relegating DeSilva to runner-up status in both heats.
Cook also won both races in the MiniGP 80 Class, but isn’t a factor yet in the title hunt as he tails Wytiko Showers by 150 points. Showers two seconds gave him a 75 point margin over Jazari Caisey.
Shae Darrell’s increased his commanding standing in the MiniGP 70 Class. Darrell’s two victories put him 93 points ahead of Haley Place.
But perhaps the best racing of the day was in the Mini Bike Open Class as Coleridge Fubler and Tamia Place swapped firsts and seconds. Place is the overall points leader on 245 with Serene Williams in second with 160 and Fubler third at 117. n
