'We're still in this tournament'
We've got to win our final two games against Argentina and Canada and hope that the Canadians do us a favour and beat America.
It's going to be tough and we've put ourselves behind the eight ball with this result but the spirit is good in this team and I believe we can do it.
We were down immediately after the game, but we had our team meeting and we said we have to put this behind us, learn from it and go on and win the next two games.
The true test of a man is not how you do when you're winning, but how you respond to defeat.
Personally, I feel in great form. I had to come off hurt again today when I was on 60 and playing well and I think that really cost us. We were 102 for 2 at that stage and I thought we could have gone on and won the game.
I've been struggling with a thigh strain I picked up in the opening game against Cayman. I had to come off after my hundred against Suriname.
At that point I was thinking I might have broken the record I got against Argentina (BDA record 139) in the last Americas but I had to think about the team.
Records are nice but it's much more important that we win matches.
I'm sure I'll be fit to play against Argentina and Canada at the weekend and it's important that I make the most of this run of form and score some big runs.
I'm enjoying opening the innings. I've spent time at the wicket, worked hard and I'm reaping the rewards.
The way I see it I'm not just there to get some quick runs and get out - yes, I'm at the top of the order because I can go over the top and take advantage of the powerplays, but I'm trying to be selective pick my moments and turn the 40s into 60s and the 60s into centuries.
When you're making runs you want to cash in and make big runs, because you won't always be in that kind of form.
Hopefully this run can continue and I can help us win these games at the weekend.
To win this tournament we have some catching up to do on the run rate and if we can get in a good position against Argentina on Saturday we need to take advantage of it.
Our first priority, though, has to be to win the game.
They have improved a lot since the last time we played and after the result we've had today they are going to think they have a chance.
We need to win first, but if we're in a good position we have to be brutal.
We've had a setback today. We switched off for 15 overs in each innings and it cost us the game. Now we have to put it right by winning our next two games.
