THURSDAY, JULY 26: Bermuda’s premier steakhouse, The Waterlot Inn has earned its third consecutive “Best of Award of Excellence Award,” from Wine Spectator Magazine making it one of 878 restaurants in the world with this honor.
According to Wine Spectator, The Best of Award of Excellence is: “Our second-tier award, created to give special recognition to restaurants that clearly exceed the requirements of the Award of Excellence. These lists typically offer 400 or more selections, along with superior presentation, and display either vintage depth, with several vertical offerings of top wines, or excellent breadth across several wine regions.”
Director of Food and Beverage Steven Stefaniuk said, “We are thrilled to once again be recognized by Wine Spectator for our dedication in showcasing the world’s best vineyards, growers and artisan producers alongside Bermuda’s best selection of steaks and chops. We encourage you to visit The Waterlot Inn or our new waterside lounge The Dock to experience our award winning wine list.”
The Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence is the latest in a series of awards received by the historic steakhouse in 2012. This year, The Waterlot Inn received The Bermudian Magazine’s Best of Bermuda Award of Excellence as well as the magazine’s Best Fine Dining, Best Food, Drink & Entertainment and Best Attentive Staff awards.
Defining Bermuda’s steakhouse experience for nearly 350 years, the historic Waterlot Inn remains Bermuda’s best. Serving the finest prime aged steaks and chops, this classic dining room has introduced a newly updated and inspired menu that spans time-honored signature specialties and incorporates bold new flavors. Fresh ingredients, unique preparation and award winning service surrounded by warm furnishings are the hallmarks of The Waterlot Inn.
