Tuff Dogs 24, AF Smith 2

Tuff Dogs used an eight-run first inning as they routed A.F. Smith in a Men's Division game. Steve O'Flynn (3-3, 4 RBI) hit a triple that drove in two runs help spark the victory.

Paulo Arruda (4-5) had two doubles and also drove in four runs while team-mates John Ray (3-5), Danny Cook (3-4) and Bradley Barton (3-5) had good cuts at the plate.

Leadoff man Tony Humphries (3-4) scored half of Smith's runs while Dustin Archibald was 2-4.

PCS Panthers 13,

Sun Control 4

Sun Control scored a run in the third and played good defence through five innings, but the wheels came off the cart in the sixth. A couple of errors allowed Panthers to score four unearned runs and they went on to cruise to the win.

Troy Dart (3-6, 2 RBI), Tracey Bean (3-6, 2 RBI), Mike Jardine (3-5) and Jessie Mills (3-6) led the charge for Panthers.

Matthew Harper (2-5) homered for Sun Control while team-mates Steve Simons (4-5), David Roache (4-5) and Trevor Corday (3-5) all swung the bat well.

P&M 21, Killer Goldfish 0

Danny Cook pitched a nifty two hitter as P&M had little problems in getting past A Division new boys Goldfish.

Joel Czember led the hit parade for P&M by going 4 for 4, but John Ray (3-4), Steve Simons (3-3, 5 RBI), Mark Herauf (3-4), Mclaren Lowe (2-3), Joanie Harper (3-4) and Cook (3-4) all applied licks to Goldfish.

Sionna Barton had a hit in her only trip to the plate and Greg Bell was 1-2 for Goldfish.[[In-content Ad]]
