Hinds took the sting out of Jellyfish as they beat them 3-1 and moved closer to first place in the Fishbowl Bowling League. Henry Mabaylan and Tony Vibal were a potent one-two punch for Hinds. Mabaylan had the high scratch and handicap game (217, 244) and Vibal had the high handicap series (639). The victory helped Hinds gain on both Snappers and Piranhas, who lost.

League leaders Piranhas were blanked by Orca, who used Alpheus Santucci's 210 game and 633 handicap series to pull off the upset win.

Teammate Keith Lapsley was almost as good by rolling a 627 series and helping Orca to the league high handicap game. Jackie Miller bowled a 201 scratch game and Ralph Dill had a 600 series for Piranhas.

Cow Pollies took three of four from second place Snappers as Yvonne Joseph rolled a 205 scratch game and a 613 handicap series. Teammate Vernon Daniels had a 204 game while Francis DeSilva had a 213 for Snappers.

June Simons led all ladies with a 638 handicap series, but it wasn't enough to stop her Tuna squad from losing 3-1 to Goldfish. Bobby DeGraff rolled a 203 for Goldfish.

Dolphins were happy to Kathleen Valdez and her 624 handicap series as they grilled Barracuda 4-0. Wahoo beat Porgies 3-1 in the other contest.

Cathee Tumbridge rolled a 210 game and 612 series for Wahoo. Stephen Paul barely garnered a 200 with a 201.
