Thrilling, final over victory for cricket team
In a rain-affected match, Stephen Outerbridge was the hero, scoring 41 as Bermuda successfully chased a target of 141 to beat W Connection Wanderers by three wickets.
Borden, who had helped set up the victory by taking 2 for 21 as Bermuda restricted the home side to 141 for 6 from 30 overs, also played a key role with the bat scoring ten not out to take Bermuda to victory with a ball to spare.
Earlier Irving Romaine (2 for 39) helped with the ball to restrict Wanderes to 141. Skipper Sanjay Gooljar was their top scorer with 31
Then Outerbridge, Fiqre Crockwell (28) and Romaine (25) combined to help Bermuda past their target.
It was the first game of a rain hit tour with two matches against Trinidad Under-23s washed out earlier in the week.
The team is scheduled to play the University of Trinidad and Tobago at Couva today before moving on to St Lucia at the weekend.
