Terceira finishes in top 10
Ms Terceira was in 11th position going into the final day of the show jumping event, in Guadalaraja, Mexico.
Fellow Bermudian contestant Patrick Nisbett and Cantaro did not make the cut.
In the scores from the previous rounds, Ms Terceira was placed 11th with a score of 9.24 penalties.
In the first round she had one rail down for four faults and a one time penalty, placing her 12th with a total 14.24.
The US dominated the top three, followed by riders from Brazil and Canada, including six time Olympian Ian Millar.
The Canada captain withdrew his horseĀ prior to the start of the round.
Ms Terceira and Bernadien completed the round with only two time penalties and being only one of five to finish without jumping penalties.
Her score of 16.24 placed her in 8th position.
This excellent result ensures that Bermuda has gained a spot in equestrian show jumping for the London Olympics 2012.[[In-content Ad]]
