Team Tuned gets a fundraising boost
Team Tuned’s fundraising efforts have been boosted thanks to the donation of a motorcycle for their raffle draw.
All money collected will aid Bermuda’s first youth development programme for motorcycle racing and assist the youngsters in getting to their upcoming competition at the Red Bull Indianapolis GP on August 27-29. Kymco Bermuda handed over a Kymco Super 8 50cc to the cause and it will be the grand prize in the charity’s raffle.
A spokesman for the team said: “Several companies have donated products to our raffle draw.
“We have a diverse selection of prizes, such as a Kymco scooter, a Cellular-ONE BlackBerry Bold 9000, a Sub Zero air-conditioning system, rounds of golf at the prestigious Riddell’s Bay course and a $250 travel voucher.”
Raffle tickets cost $10 and the proceeds will help pay for riders Cody Sousa-Saints and Bruce Degrilla Jr. to travel to Indianapolis to represent Bermuda in their first world championship event.
