Starting Over wins Bericoton bowling title
They won by 60 games over Last Minute in the final standings and beat their rivals 14 to 4 last week.
Produce upset Top Guns 12 to 6, but it wasn't enough to move into third place while Last Minute doubled up Late Rollers 12 to 6.
David Maycock led all bowlers with a 245 game with George Ben (225) and Clem Lespere (215) also rolling well. Bobbie Ingham topped all women with a 205, barely edging Barbara Robinson, who had a 204. Lynn Gilbert also topped the 200 mark with a 201.
Ingham led all bowlers with a 588 series. Gilbert (548) and Robinson (529) were the second and third highest lady bowlers.
The top man was Lespere with a 573. Ben (569) and Maycock (564) were second and third.
Final standings: 1. Starting Over 370.5; 2. Last Minute 310.5-191.5; 3. Top Guns 289.5-214.5; 4. Produce 262-242; 5. Late Rollers 193-311; 6. Missing In Action 86.5-425.5.
Barritt's League
There are three weeks remaining, but the Pembroke Jrs. are assured of winning the league unless a meltdown of Biblical proportions happen. They stand 87.5 points ahead of second place PHC with 90 games to go.
Pembroke downed Logic Rollers 25 to 5 while PHC beat Stash T 19 to 11. Others cores: The Old & the New 20, Buy & Sell 10; Sparks 23.5, Southside One 6.5; Southside Two 28, Young Bloods 2.
Michael Honore rolled a 268 game while Mike Dill (256) and Miles Smith (244) also did well.

Commercial Bowling League
The brooms were out as three teams swept to victory on Monday night at Warwick Lanes. Do It Best Masters, BTC and Sunset all pulled off four-point victories. Double Trouble beat league leaders King Pins 3-1 and Spinners did likewise to Strikers.
Masters lead is now just 1.5 games over BTC.
Michael Honore rolled a 243 game while Marie Ford led all women with a 200. John Adams (244), Robert 'Dixie' Symonds (209), Terrylyn Jones (194) and Shayna Hendrickson (192) also had high games.
Adams had the high handicap series with a 659. Honore was second with a 650 while Andre Trott was third a 646 series.
The top woman bowler was Marie Ford with a sterling 631. Shanyna Hendrickson had a 616 while Brenda Jean Smith also topped the 600 mark with a 601.
