Star of the show was 16-year-old Micah Franklin, who stepped up to the Under-19 section, and played a blinding game to defeat his older, more experienced opponent.
Franklin played at a blistering pace to win his match 3-0 - the pivotal moment in the match.
The tournament pits the young teams against each other in five matches in different age categories.
Bermuda were expected to win in their first Under-19 match and Robbie Maycock duly complied, romping to a straight-sets victory. Micah Franklin then won his game before Noah Browne, competing in the Under-15 section secured the victory, with a 3-1 win.
Under-13 Beckett Simmons played very well against Trinidad's Mandela Patrick but lost in three straight sets while Kristian Muldoon was still on court at press time. His game would have no bearing on the outcome of the match with Bermuda having already secured the three victories required to progress.
The victory followed on the heels of their 5-0 win over Barbados in the opening round on Wednesday and completed a great day for Bermuda's youngsters.
Earlier the girls' team had shaded a very tight match against the Bajans.
It was expected to be a close match and indeed, it came down to the wire, with Under-13 Emma Keane, Under-17 Kelly Barnes, and Under-19 Jennie Schroder, all winning their matches 3 nil to seal a 3-2 victory for Bermuda.
Rachel Barnes played very well against one of the strongest players in junior and senior Caribbean squash, Cheri-Ann Parris, but was on the losing end, while Tanya Marshall, playing for the first time on the Bermuda squad, had a very close and exciting dual with Asha Gibbs of Barbados before going down 3-2 in a marathon match.
The Bermuda girls were expected to face a much tougher match later in the evening.
