Sports Briefs
The Bermuda Motorcycle Racing Club will be providing race school and practice for BMRC members at Morganâs Point, Southampton on November 16 (9am-4pm).
Membership is $30, plus an additional $40 for race school.
Those interested can sign up at World Distributors or Added Speed. Applications must be submitted no later than November 14.
Softball
Wednesday, November 12: (6pm) IAS Park versus Bermuda Blueprinting; (7:30pm) Crystal Balls versus HSBC; (9pm) BNTB Cedars versus Corrections. Thursday, November 13: (6pm) Sea Venture versus Barracudas; (7:30pm) BNTB Flyers versus Snowballs; (9pm) Docksiders versus Polka Boosters. Friday, November 14: (6pm) Renegades versus ACE Invaders; (7:30pm) BF&M Hurricanes versus PWC Oddits; (9pm) Centre Fielders versus Castlewood.
Timeless 5K
The Timeless 5K will take place Sunday, November 16 starting from Bermuda Air Conditioning ÷ Mill Road, Pembroke ÷ and finishing at the same venue.
The walk commences at 8.45am followed by the run at 9am.
Competitors are asked to predict their time and the one that comes closest to their predicted time is the winner.
Dorien Armstrong is the defending champion, correctly predicting he would finish in 21 minutes a year ago and doing so to the minute.
Entries can be picked up and submitted at Sportseller and Bermuda Air Conditioning and finish on Friday (5pm) although late entries will be accepted on the day.
There will be prizes for the first eight finishers as well as numerous draw prizes with the main prize being a Carrier air conditioning system courtesy of BAC.[[In-content Ad]]
