Spare Collectors roll up big win
Spare Collectors and Ten Pins both made bold moves for the title as they won their respective matches 9-0 in the East End Winter League at Southside Family Bowl.
Spare Collectors pulled within two games of leaders Fireballs, who were upset 7 to 2 to TLC, while Strike Squad are now just five games off the pace.
TLC’s victory allowed them to turn the whole race for first wide open as they are just three games back of Fireballs.
It was the women getting the best of the men for high game as Rita Smith’s 217 was on top of the honours’ list.

Elliot Douglas was the top man with a 203 with Troy Pitcher missing his 200 by two pins. Greame ‘Flash’ Furbert rolled a 192.
