Smith and Price top Armadillo league
Changes jumped up to third place in the Armadillo Ladies Classic League with a 17 to 3 victory over Pacesetters. There is a good battle for third amongst Changes, Fresh Blood and Strike Zone.
Shakia Smith (249, 644) and Pat Price (231, 599) were the top two ladies in both high game and high series. Francis Trott rolled a 203 game and Traci Lambe had a 551 series.
Scores: Strike Zone 13, Hot Tamales 7; Lucky Strikes 7, Upstarts 13; Changes 17, Pacesetters 3; Classy Ladies 11, Fresh Blood 9.
Standings: 1. Upstarts 295.5; 2. Classy Ladies 262.5; 3. Changes 212.5; 4. Fresh Blood 206; 5. Strike Zone 205; 6. Lucky Strikes 176; 7. Pacesetters 167.5; 8. Hot Tamales 155.
Youth cricket
The Bermuda Cricket Board youth leagues will take place from April 22 to June 27.
The League finishes with the All-star games at the National Sports Centre on June 20 for 8s and Under and 11 and Unders and June 27 for 14s and Under and 17s and under.
The registration deadline is Friday, March 20, 2009 and forms may be downloaded off the BCB website at www.bermudacricketboard.com.

Temple University sophomore Kijuan Wilkinson was first in the triple jump with a leap of 43'06.5" at the Thompson University track meet earlier this month. n[[In-content Ad]]
