Perozzi's called it 'her worst nightmare" as her hair came undone in the super middleweight title fight in Germany for seven belts.
Bermuda's champ said she doesn't feel she lost as bad as the scorecards reflected.
"I don't feel that. I feel that I definitely won the first round.
"I don't want to blame (the loss) on my hair, but it didn't help that it came out during the fight.
"It was the worst nightmare to ever happen to me in the ring.
"In the third round it started to come out and by the sixth round my bangs were in my face. From the fifth round I knew it was over.
"I was just trying not to let her see how it was affecting me. Then it took three rounds for my corner to fix it."
Perozzi said she had given her corner an elastic before the fight, but when she sat down between the sixth and seventh rounds sit couldn't be found.
She fought the seventh with hair still in her face. "They found it, but then they put it in the wrong place for the next round and finally the round after that they got it in the right place.
"That's why it looks so ridiculous in the pictures because they're just trying to get the bangs out of the way.
Perozzi said she could see Ragosina's confidence buidling as her hair was making it difficult to see.
"By the time (my hair was fixed) it was two rounds left, it was too late. She was building up strength and I was just trying to make it through.
She added: "Physically I'm fine. I have a little bruise on my eyelid, but she doesn't hit hard so it looked worse than it was."
The NABC middleweight champ added that Ragosina "never once brought the fight to me. She fights going backwards.
"She was very effective and very prepared for me. She knew exactly what to do to counter my style.
"She was a counter puncher and she was doing it backwards so there was no power on it."
Perozzi said she will take a little break, like she does after every fight and weigh up her options.
"I probably won't fight at that weight class again - it just doesn't make sense for me." n
"They were definitely very nice, but even from the second we got there there was a huge langauge barrier. Nobody spoke English. We didn't know from one minute to the next where we were supposed to be right up until we got in the ring. Even then they didn't tell us which corner we were supposed to be in.
"Part of the reason I felt good to go over there was my Sweden experience, but this was totally the opposite. They were professional and friendddlish, but I was definitely treated a lot better in Sweden.
