PWC wins game of the year, 28-22

A Division

Docksiders Tuff Dogs 18, Bermuda Pest Control 3

The Dogs kept a perfect record with a five-hit mercy win of the exterminators. Ryan Outerbridge led the Dogs with a 4-4 hitting clinic, but Justin Barritt (3-3), Steve O'Flynn (3-4), Sarah Robinson (3-4) and Mike Smith (3-3) all batted well for the winners. Smith hit a pair of two-run homers and knocked in six runs.

Alex Styche (1-3) leadoff the game for Pest Control with a homer.

Flanagans Outback 12,

PCS Panthers 7

The Outback used a pair of homers by Darren Green (4-4) to move past Panthers in the standings. Leadoff man Bob "The Candyman" Petty was 3-4 as was teammate Joe Fassler. Kirk Duerden (2-3) also homered in the win.

Jevaine 'Smoky' Fubler was 3-4 for Panthers. Mike Jardine and Nyon Steede were both 2-3 in the loss.

B Division

BEST Shipping 22, PWC 28

This might be the game of the season as PWC scored four in the seventh inning to tie the score and send this contest into extra innings. Both clubs scored six teams in the eighth before PWC won by putting another six spot on the board in ninth.

Cole Shepherd was 6-6 for PWC as his team won for the first time this year. Anton Schmitz (5-6), Michael Carter (4-6), Zack Rothman (4-5) all swung the bat well for PWC.

Micah Meens (5-5) homered for BEST as both Ryan Rabain and Alex Roque were 4-5 in a valiant losing effort.

TBI Highspeeders 18, D & J Construction 13

TBI stayed on top the B Division but they had to score six times in the top of the seventh to do so. Bradley Barton (4-6) helped spark the rally with a homer in the last inning. Jamie Roberts (5-5), Derika Fishington (3-5) and Diego McCullen (4-5) also contributed to the triumph.

D & J did their scoring in bunches with seven in the fourth and four in the sixth. David Chisholm (4-5), Devin Millett (3-4) and Chuck Mackinon (3-5) were the top hitters for the Construction crew.

Bermuda Blueprinting 14, Scared Hitless 14

A 10-run fifth inning sealed the deal for Blueprinting as they came back from being down six. Ian Bridges was 4-4 for Blueprining with David Gibbons (3-4) homering in the decisive fifth inning. Teammate Chris Lima was 3-5.

Leadoff man Owen Darrell was 4-4 for the Hitless with Archie Hill going 3-4.

C Division

Bermuda Water Tours 19, Each Hit 1

Mark Pacheco almost hit for the cycle as he was only missing a single in his club's win over Each Hit.

Ahmed Holder and Mark Steiman were both 2-3 for Each Hit.

BNY 17, Island Glass 11

John Jackson (3-4) hit a grand slam while John Pitcher was 4-5 as BNY moved into third place.

Sal Bartoletti (3-4) was Island Glass' best hitter.

KPMG 28, CITI 18

Peter Dahill helped KPMG keep a perfect record as he homered twice and drove in six runs. Jason Cheng was 5-5 for CITI.[[In-content Ad]]
