Premier's meeting to hear public's views on economy
FRIDAY, JULY 15: Premier Paula Cox will hold a public meeting to outline how Government is tackling the recession next week.
Ms Cox – who is also Finance Minister – will be joined by four other Ministers to discuss the economy and how to boost it.
Ministers Kim Wilson, Patrice Minors, Glenn Blakeney and Michael Weeks are expected to take part.
Solutions
Ms Cox said: “I want to encourage as many residents as possible to come and hear about the tangible solutions that each of their Ministers is enacting, which are aimed at strengthening not only our economy, but the social fabric of our community.”
She said members of the public were welcome to chip in with their views, as “each person’s opinion is valuable” in formulating potential solutions.
The Town Hall meeting, entitled ‘Pulling Together to Make it Better for Bermuda’, will be held on Tuesday at the Warwick Workmens’ Club from 7:30pm.
