Pinjammers take first place from Spicenix

Round one goes to the Pinjammers. The team met Spicenix in a battle for the top spot in the Freisenbruch-Meyer Continental League with Pinjammers coming out on top 20.5 to 9.5. The Jammers now lead Spicenix by eight games.

Wayne Kelly's 219 was high game but Clem Lespere continues his hot streak with a 564 series. Lespere also tossed a 216 game while Phillip Francis rolled a 207 game on his way to a 555 series. Kelly had a 540 series.

Lee-Ann Bean edged Peaches Perinchief by one pin to take high game honours amongst the ladies with a 202. Rochelle Harvey and June Pitt both had 190s.

High series honours went to Kennisha Simmons with a 542. Perinchief (535) and Harvey (511) were second and third respectively.

Chris Leverock's 233 led all bowlers in the Barritt's League. Both Phillip Francis and Dean Lightbourn had 228s. Gilbert DeCosta had the high series with a 639 followed by Leverock (621) and Lightbourn (598).

Mixed Majors

Mix Ups and Minmax Forwarders became the first two teams to top 100 wins. Mix Ups beat the Untouchables 15 to 5 while Minmax downed Strike Force 14 to 6.

Lloyd Evans rolled a 242 game while Anthony Smith (227) and Glenn Tuzo (224) also topped the 200 mark. The top woman was Kathleen Christopher (202), with Pat Price (187) and Shirley Tuzo (185) also making the honours list.

Glenn Tuzo led everyone with a 623 series with Loderick Holder (607) the only other bowler to top 600. David Maycock had the third high series with a 571.

Peaches Perinchief (533), Christopher (530) and Millicent Francis (497) were the top three women.

Wahoo moved to within a half game of first after blanking Snappers 4-0.

Carlos Estravit was in top form with a 235 game while Lucky Pitcher (226) and David Mello (224) also topped 200. The top women were Marj Correia (192), Yvonne Joseph (186) and Cathee Tumbridge (179).

High series honours in the four division went to Tumbridge (621); Karen Perinchief (621), Lucky Pitcher (692) and Sterlin Smith (663).
